Operating Principle

In the MHB Type Semi-Gantry Crane, one end of the main girder is supported by an outrigger and ground beam on a floor-level rail, while the other end rests directly on the elevated crane runway girder of the factory building via an end carriage—forming a stepped semi-gantry structure. The electric hoist traverses along the lower flange of the I-beam on the main girder, while the bridge travel mechanism drives the main girder longitudinally along the building.

Longitudinal Travel: The bridge travel mechanism on the outrigger side runs along the floor rail, while the end carriage on the opposite side travels along the factory's crane runway girder. Both sides are synchronized through the Electrical Control System.

Hoisting Mechanism: The CD1 electric hoist uses a Conical Rotor Motor driving a three-stage helical gear reducer to rotate the drum, which winds the wire rope to raise and lower the hook. On power failure, the cone brake engages automatically to ensure safe load suspension.
