Working Principle
The QP series single-point winch hoist operates on the principle of a winch combined with wire rope and a single lifting point. The motor drives the gearbox to rotate the drum, and the wire rope wound around the drum connects to the gate lifting point via a pulley block, enabling the gate to be raised or lowered.
During the lifting operation, the motor rotates forward to wind the wire rope and raise the gate. During the lowering operation, the motor reverses to release the rope, allowing the gate to descend and close under its own dead weight. The brake holds the gate securely in any position. The manual operating mechanism drives the gearbox input shaft via a hand crank or handwheel, enabling manual operation when no power supply is available.
